- What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
My family.
- Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Maui-my wife and I went for two weeks for our honeymoon. Simply put, the most incredible travel experience I’ve ever had.
- What does true leadership mean to you?
True leadership is leading by example. The less you have to try to be a leader, the better leader you are.
- What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime?The internet.
- If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Playing center-field for the Red Sox.
- What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Listen to your parents, because they’re right about pretty much everything.
- Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
In 2010 I donated a kidney to one of my closest friends.
- If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Speak another language fluently.
- What are 3 words you’d use to describe Berry Insurance?
Caring, knowledgeable, community-oriented.
- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Take my family on a long, expensive vacation.
- When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
With a 2 ½ year old and a 2 month old this pretty much never happens.
- What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
The birth of my second daughter.
- What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
There’s two, and their names are Abigail and Elyse.
- What is the first concert you attended?
Counting Crows. Don’t really remember why.
- What is your favorite thing about working in insurance?
The ability to help people protect everything that is important in their lives.
- What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Unloading the dishwasher.
- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
Abraham Lincoln.
- Ten years ago, who did you think you would be now?
I honestly had no idea, but I’m very happy with how things turned out.
- If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Anything my wife makes.
- If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
